We were not able to reproduce the exact issue, but we have made some changes that we think should solve the issue (if the problem was caused because of the French version of XP).

Can you please try the HF4 (2007.11.06.HF4) and let us know if you still experience the same issue. If you do, please let us know some more details about XP French edition, i.e. is it standard English Edition and you modified the regional settings to French or is there a "French Only" release of XP?
