How to Mass change file Cache dates?

Postby EverythingFurniture » Wed Nov 30, 2011 12:08 am

I need to so the expiration to like 2017 or something so the browser chaches the images.

Any way to apply this to a folder full of images?

Hi,

Bucket Explorer help you to do so.

You can use Batch Operation Option for bulk operation. In Batch Operations you will find Metadata and Acl option on both Bucket And Object Level.

So in your case you have to selected that folder in Object table and then click on Batch Operation ->Update Metadata->Add Metadata.

Here you can Enter Key :"Cache-Control" with Value : "max-age= (time for which you want your object to be accessed from cache in seconds)” e.g. value= " max-age= 1296000"

For more details read the link Batch Update Metadata

Thanks
