What is the basic use of the Upload as HTML feature in Bucket Explorer?

Hi,
You can use this feature when you want to show any text file as an html format since browser does not allow you to open the file in .txt or .doc format.You need to download the files first and then open the file to read. Bucket Explorer provides a facility to its user with upload option - Upload as HTML.you can easily open and read such files on the browser without downloading them. All you have to do is just upload the files as HTML. This will change the Content-Type of file as text/html.

Thanks for your reply.
i understood that with this feature (Upload as HTML ) , my text file becomes html file but you said that to read that file on browser i don't need to download the file. How can i read the file without downloading the file?

Hi,

You can read the content of file on browser by generating web URL using right click option 'Generate Web URL'. The object must have 'All Users' 'Read' permission to run on browser.
